Heat Pump/Central Air with Gas Furnace Check-up
Every maintenance check is handled with care, so our 16 step check-up process for these systems includes:- Clean burner and inspect heat exchanger
- Clean and adjust thermostat, as required
- Lubricate all motor, bearings, fans and circulators
- Clean and adjust pilot assembly
- Drain expansion tank if applicable
- Inspect air filters and clean or replace with customer-supplied air filters
- Test and adjust pressure regulator
- Test and adjust the operation of safety and operating controls
- Inspect flue pipe and draft diverter
- Combustion check
- Test gas valve operation
- Check blower motor (and belt if applicable)
- Test and tighten all wiring and connections
- Adjust burner for maximum efficiency
- Turn exposed dampers to heating position, if marked (balancing not included)
- Inform customer of equipment condition, money-saving conservation measures and recommend necessary repairs.
Oil Furnace
Our technicians take essential measures to ensure your oil furnace is running smoothly. This 15-point check includes:- Check and clean flue
- Check and adjust biometric damper
- Replace nozzle
- Replace oil filter
- Replace pump strainer
- Check and clean cad cell
- Lubricate all motors, bearings and fans
- Clean and adjust thermostat
